power management problems

Hi all,

On my Macbook Air, I got a problem, that the power management applet
does not seem to indicate the battery status correctly.

acpi output
Battery 0: Discharging, 95%, 03:24:13 remaining

applet is red and indicates 6% left but shows a somewhat similar time (3
hours, 31 minutes).

Have you experienced something similiar?

What verion of openSUSE are you using, did it work before?

What does upower think? Check with /usr/bin/upower --dump.

Sorry, forgot to mention that. I am on 12.3 rc1 and it worked fine in 12.2

upower lists the same values as the power management applet. So could
this perhaps be a problem with upower in general?

upower lists the same values as the power management applet. So

Yeah, might be a problem with how upower parses values. So you
should probably file a bug against upower, be sure to include the
raw sysfs/procfs ACPI data, the output of /usr/bin/upower --dump,
and your exact hardware.
